Here's a mod by Zenball that changes *all* REPCONN static radios to play Radio New Vegas instead, in case you want to fix more than just the Novac motel room one: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=37302
Summary:
Novac Motel Radio Fix v1
Replaces Novac motel room radio that is tuned to static with one that is tuned to Radio New Vegas.
No other mods required.
Notes:
I am currently using the motel room in Novac as my player housing, and I noticed that the radio next to the bed plays only static. As part of learning the GECK editor, I decided to replace it with a radio that is tuned to Radio New Vegas so that it is actually useful. I tried to place it at the exact same spot with the exact same orientation, so it shouldn't change things visibly.
This should work with other Novac motel room mods that don't modify or remove the default radio.
Installation:
Install HZNovacMotelRadioFix.esp into the game's Data folder and activate it via whatever method you are using for other mods.
Load order shouldn't matter, with one exception: If you happen to be using other mods that the Novac motel player's room, it will probably be best to load this one after it/them.
