This mod changes some of the perks to be more universal. Perks that apply to various weapon groups now accept skill from either weapon group. This mainly targets melee/unarmed, but rapid reload affects both guns and energy weapons (albeit with a low guns requirement), so no reason for it to be locked to the guns skill. Likewise, Heave-Ho applies just as well to the thrown melee weapons, and thus now it can accept melee skill.
I almost suspect Pyromaniac requiring explosives is a flat-out mistake, as the only fire-based explosive weapon (that I can tell) is the incendiary grenade. Nevertheless, I kept it with an explosives option, and added the obvious option of energy weapons.
List of changed perks:
Melee and Unarmed: Super Slam Unstoppable Force Piercing Strike Slayer Ninja
Guns and Energy Weapons: Rapid Reload
Explosives and Energy Weapons: Pyromaniac
Explosives and Melee: Heave-Ho
Note that this could be considered a bit unbalancing for melee or unarmed; you get access to more perks with the same skill point investment. It did seem ridiculous, however, that something like slayer would be locked to the Unarmed skill, with Melee not getting a high-level perk.
Bugs: The perk requirements display in the level-up screen will be bugged. Apparently the game doesn't like displaying an "OR" condition along with an "AND" condition; It will only show the two "OR" perk requirements. The other requirement is still there; For example, Ninja will still require 80 Sneak, as well as 80 in melee or unarmed. Check the fallout wiki or an faq for perk requirements, if necessary.
