About this mod

Adds an MCM to configure the amount your mouse sensitivity is altered when you use iron sights or scopes. Hold or toggled via hotkey.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Mini update - Users maxxdaemon and Dadinjo have confirmed that Xpadder will work with the mod. This should be great news for people who like to use controllers. :)
I assume Ds4Windows should work as well, and probably Dualsense controllers have something that makes them look like XBox controllers nowadays.

Description
===========
Allows you to set a Hotkey that you Hold or Toggle to reduce your mouse sensitivity for accurate shots. Both scoped weapons and iron sight weapons work for this and have separate settings.
This mod is based off of cmal's Precise Aim mod for Fallout 3 http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/7450

Details
=======
I got tired of just dealing with the game's aim system, which did NOT reduce mouse sensitivity when you zoom. So, after hours and hours of searching, then hours and hours of waiting, and hours and hours of porting, and about an hour of testing and tinkering, I had basically finished this mod.
But there was more to do. Over time, I added the Hold functionality for the hotkey, the varmint rifle fix(scoped vs unscoped) and after literally 5 years, an MCM which was requested ages ago, and I simply did not have the skills to pull off.

This mod is still functionally equivalent to the original Precise Aim mod, but now with far more options and and much more usability in addition to its simplicity.

Using MCM, you'll get a menu called Zoom Assist, which will allow you to customize your Hotkey and the individual Iron Sight and Scoped settings.
Hold your assigned Hotkey(Default is X), and it will enable the effect, release it and it will disable the effect immediately, no need to de-zoom.

There is also a Toggle mode. In-game press the hotkey and the mod will be enabled until you press it again. Useful when using a controller.

I'm hoping everyone sees why this functionality is so necessary. Test it out, and you'll immediately feel the difference.

Recommendations
===============
lStewieAl's Tweaks - for a huge number of convenient new settings and and such, especially separate vertical sensitivity.
Just Assorted Mods - especially for Just Hold Breath which is included in the mod. I use it with this mod, set to the same hotkey, for AP drain and scope wobble removal.

Changelog
=======
Version 3
fixed scripting issues and ini settings
added support for LStewieAl's tweaks
fixed all MCM menu settings and visibility

Version 2
Fixed Varmint Rifle issues and made an MCM
Removed configuration tool from the inventory
Only the Hold version now
Far more sensitivity options

Version 1.2
Fixed One-Handed weapons not being affected
Made two versions of the plugin, one for holding the hotkey for use while held, one for toggling
Some cleanup

Version 1.1
-removed unnecessary Scripts, which may have caused unnecessary incompatibilities

Install
=======
GET ALL THE REQUIREMENTS. This will not work without the requirements
Download with your favorite mod manager, enable the mod. Configure via MCM, and it should work fine.
If you notice the mod immediately being enabled, it probably detected the hotkey while you were in the menu, just press it in-game to fix that.

Upgrading
=========
Simply replace ZoomAssistH.esp with the new version

Uninstall
=========
Set mode to hold and in the game press the hotkey to ensure the mod is no longer enabled.
Save and exit.
Delete the ZoomAssistH.esp file

Incompatibility
===============
There should be no incompatibilities. The mod has no DLC requirements and does not modify ANY vanilla items whatsoever.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
Zoom Assist, just as Precise Aim before it, does not currently DIRECTLY support any gamepads. This is because the MCM is incapable of recognizing the controller inputs, even though we now have script extenders that could do it just fine.
However, Xpadder can be used to map the buttons and sticks of a controller to keyboard keys and mouse movements, allowing you to get around some limitations of the mod.

PLANNED CHANGES
===============
NO FURTHER CHANGES PLANNED, BUGFIXES ONLY

Thanks
=======
I'd like to thank cmal for the original mod, and the person who initially requested it from him.
I'd also like to thank Google for it's help with searching, which was integral to getting this working. lol
