The Fall of Los Illuminados has been re-released. Cheers!

8/25/17 Hotfix Update

-Made a quick hotfix after reinstalling New Vegas. Cohens' voice will now play properly, the slave pen is now assigned to the right key, and Anderson is now lying dead properly.

-Overhaul release 6/27/2015
--There is now more dialogue with Courier Two. You can trade equipment, and even ask about the fate of the other couriers from the Platinum Chip job.
--Fixed an error of receiving 100 Gecko Hide Armors at the end, you now only receive one
--Protectrons now have green decals
--The questline has been changed rather drastically. There are now 3 ways to enter West Tek, with the questline now ending at the National Guard Depot.
--The armory can now be unlocked upon Metzger's death. Opening it is no longer a part of the questline.
--There have been several facelifts to existing NPCs. Several others, both friendly and hostile, are added to.
--A drastic increase in difficulty. NPCs start at a higher level, with higher base stats. There are more veteran slavers, too, as well as boss enemies.
--There is now even more lore, in the form of notes, items and terminals. Remember a certain missing book in Fallout 2, corresponding to the Den? Turns out it's still missing...
--Tons more easter eggs
--A new cell, and an add-on to Fire Root Cavern
--The main entrance is no longer a cave. It now appears like a mysterious bunker.
--You now have quest markers all the way through, even right from the moment you load the mod up. Yay.
--Metzger's office has been updated with more clutter, containers, and an executive escape tunnel. (Which is one of the ways in, actually.)
--Destructible environment, cool. Well, kind of. In places.
--No more Los Illuminados. Yes, that's right. The name was removed, as it was just too cheesy. Sorry guys.
--A loading screen has a chance of appearing now.
--You can receive a perk upon completion.
--The slave pen now requires the key to open. (Why didn't I do this to begin with?)
--Your dialogue can slightly vary now in places, giving you more options to better fit your character's personality.
--Hopefully a huge Metzger buff to make him worthy of an end-mod boss
--Fixed several more issues, and a whole lot more.

CHRISTMAS UPDATE, 12/26/14: I've found the time for a new update, almost in time for Christmas. I accidentally deleted it during upload yesterday, so it's late. Sorry. Merry Christmas, and thanks!
--Added a Legion encounter with Los Illuminados (No Legion rep at risk)
--Restored a unique weapon (Fallout 3 Chinese officer sword, NV Cut Content)
--Added the grave of Metzger, Sr. to the opening area
--Note tweak (More lore)
--New Boss enemy, Decius of the Far East

Final version has been released. The sequel has been cancelled due to lack of equipment and time. Thanks to everyone for your support since release. I never expected to get this far. Your endorsements and comments are very much appreciated. I hope you enjoy the Fall of Los Illuminados. Thanks for playing, and happy hunting!!!

UPDATE: 4/21/2013 - It's been a long time with no update, Nexus community. I appreciate all of the attention, kind words, and support you gave me with The Fall of Los Illuminados. The sequel's concept has been developed, and is currently waiting to begin development. It's release is currently unknown. I have taken feedback into consideration, and will think on them as necessary. I will do my best to make it everything I wanted the original to be and more. Thanks for playing, and I hope you try out the sequel! :)

When Courier Six was hired to deliver the Platinum Chip to the Strip, 5 decoy couriers were hired to ensure safe passage. The plan was flawless, but due to an unforseen event, the man in the checkered suit was able to thwart the entire plan and succeed in his plan to obtain the chip from the Courier. Now, one of the decoy couriers has returned to the Mojave Wasteland, with problems of his own.

Upon installing this mod, you will recieve a letter from Thomas Ferguson, also known as Courier Two. After meeting with him, you will embark on a quest into the New Vegas branch of the pre-war West Tek Research Group bunker. Who lives inside now, why has no one else looted it, and why does Courier Two have an interest in it? This is the question you will receive the answer to upon your playthrough of The Swift Hand of Courier Two.

You can find Courier Two at the Smith Mesa Prospector Camp, just southwest of Cottonwood Cove. Quest markers do not appear until Courier Two is hired.

Features:
-An intriguing story of a wasteland veteran and his desire for retribution over the death of his family
-A combat heavy quest that can take up to 2 hours to complete depending on your skill
-Two new bunkers and a new building to explore
-The ability to take down Los Illuminados, one of the most heavily armed groups in the Mojave
-A temporary companion
-Brand new weapons and armor
-An untouched armory ripe for the picking, provided you survive
-A reimplementation of story elements and characters that would have been in Fallout: Van Buren
-Easter Eggs, of course. What's a mod without easter eggs?

Installation
-If running an older version, Download and install the resource files. Then download and activate the Esp. You MUST have both. I forgot to add the .esp to the first download. My internet is too slow to reupload it all again as one. Sorry, that was a fault on my part.
-if running the final version, all you have to do is download the All in One package, manually extract the archive folders to Steam/SteamApps/FalloutNV/Data. Or download the FOMM version, ready to be used with FOMM.

Bugs:
-The slave pen door can be exploited for good karma if opened and reclosed repeatedly. I have decided not to fix this. (Corrected in the newest update)
-There is still directional typos in notes. However the quest markers are still correct.
-Dialogue between Courier Two and Metzger's diary imply two different dates for the first Metzger's demise. Never noticed, but wasn't fixed.
-Noticed one typo. Negligible.
-Noticed you receive 100 copies of Courier Two's armor at 1% health. Not intended, but still a previously unnoticed bug nonetheless. Throw the rest in the garbage if you don't want them.

Tips/Tricks:
-You need 3 keys to get into the office. Red, Blue, and Yellow. They can all be found on the bodies of the named enemies in the main West Tek bunker.
-The quest is unmarked until Courier Two begins following you. The password you need is inside A Cuppa Joe, just east of the Thorn in Westside. Westside is, naturally, west of The Strip.
-Companions are highly recommended.
-You may need to speak with Courier Two in order to update certain quest objectives.
-Enemies are scaled to 1.2 times your current level, with a minimum level of 15. Due to this, this mod is only recommended for high leveled characters, or someone who uses multiple companions. Courier Two is always your characters level, but begins at Level 15 regardless.

Misc:
-Voices are not yet included, except for one character. Courier Two's voice coming soon. (Cancelled until further notice/indefinitely due to lack of fitting actors)
-Do not try to tell me that West Tek was limited to what is now The Glow. The comment will be ignored. The FEV research was restricted to Mariposa. West Tek's other research was not restricted to one facility. Nothing in lore says otherwise.

Future Plans:
-I can't see very much at all. If I ever get a new computer, like, a really nice one, I want to do a massive overhaul. An original intention was to be able to side with Metzger. It was cut due to my lack of questing ability, but you can still see what I was going to do hidden in the GECK, if you look it up. Also want to resize armory into a true armory, and add more diversity in environments.

Legal:
-You may not upload this file to any other sites under any circumstances. You may reuse assets included in this mod, provided you credit any modders related to the assets you use, as they were taken from modder's resources.

History:

-Update release 9/5/14
--Quest dialogue update

--Fixed a typo in Metzger's computer
