----------
Important
----------

Please reset hardcore mode using the Toilet Paper item by turning it off, then back on. This will help prevent problems as some of the timers used in the mod have changed.

------------
DescriptionNew Hardcore mode added, see change log below for details!
------------

This mod adds an inventory item called Toilet Paper to the aid section of the pip boy. When you enter a new cell, or find a fixture that you want to replace click the Toilet Paper and select the desired option. If you are replacing toilets in your own home, or somewhere you wouldn't expect to find random NPCs using the toilets, select the add toilets to my home option.

Sit on toilets will play a flushing sound when you or an NPC get up from them and walk away.

Urinals will play an unzip sound, peeing sound, and zip sound when used. To use a urinal simply walk up to it very close. Urinals are only for male characters, sorry ladies.

Tubs can sit two people. They will unequip your clothing, if you are wearing any, and play enter and leave splashing sounds. Upon leaving your clothing will be re-equipped. Placeable tubs will only do the above for the player due to some placement limitations. Replaced tube will do the above for the player and one companion, if two companions are in the tub only the first one entering will be affected.

If you decide you don't want the placeable tub anymore open console, click it to show its id at the top of the screen and type, disable followed by the enter key, then MarkForDelete followed by the enter key. Repeat the process for the water mesh.

Companions with a sit option can use toilets.

Notes
-----

Why create this mod when at least one other mod with sit on toilets exists? When I came across these meshes I thought it was a good idea. Who wants to drink from a dirty toilet anyway? The mods I saw were replacer mods where the mod authors went in and hand replaced the old toilets with the sit on type. That can cause conflicts with other mods that change cells obviously, plus it doesn't affect newly created cells from other mods.

After the initial release for FO3 I included usable urinals, and bathtubs. Even added placeable bathtubs that you can purchase from the merchant in the GoodSprings General Store. The items are called Dirty Tub, Clean Tub, and Cleanest Tub, and sell for 300, 600, and 1000 caps respectively. Tubs weigh 50lbs to add some realism (yes I know a cast iron tub like this would actually be a few hundred pounds).

To place a purchased tub Drop the item from the misc scetion of your inventory. The tub can then be placed using the z key. Once in position enter sneak mode and activate the tub to set yout new useable two person tub.

Tubs, the placeable kind and the replacements for existing tubs are scaled up a bit (to avoid some clipping, feet still stick through the bottom, sorry best I can do) so keep this in mind when placing them.

My approach, while a little more combersome, allows for greater compatability along with support for other mods.

--------
Warning
--------

This mod will disable existing toilets and tubs and replace them with the useable variety. Uninstalling this mod will leave you with an empty spot where they used to be. Be sure to activate the UseableToiletsUninstall.esp to replace those toilets, and leave it installed until you are sure all have been re-enabled.

Change Log
-----------

8-26-12: Changed the timers concerning the pee time variable. The new timer gives 12 hpurs before any warnings, then an additional warning each 3 hours. At the 21 hour mark an accident will happen if you do not find a toilet or use the No Pee chem. Be sure to reset hardcore mode using the Toilet Paper item to ensure the new timers are activated properly.

Added out houses as useable toilets. They function just like other toilets from this mod, but do not use the flushing sound. These out houses just have a script attached to the base object, so no need to run the Toilet Paper replacer function, they should work when activated.

Also added the Ultra Lux toilets to the replacer script, as it was pointed out I missed them in previous versions.

Lastly I added the ability to bathe in bodies of water, providing you have some Abraxo cleaner. To bathe in water bring up the pipboy and find the Toilet Paper aid item. Hole the zoom button (which should inform you that you can not drop quest items) And left click the Toilet Paper while still holding zoom. If you are in the water your armor should be removed, and the script will run just like in a bath tub cleaning the dirt over time. Only natural water bodies will work, not placeable water.

Previous update: Two new items are added to the camp fire menu

No-Pee
No-Poo

Each of these items will extend the time until your next bathroom visit. When using them your timer will be reset, but agailty penalty will remain until you find and use a toilet. Currently each recipe requires a dirty water, and either Broc Flower (for pee) or xander root (for poo).

5-22-12: Added an option to bind a hot key (of your selection) to display your current bathroom timers and mod penalties. Only available in hardcore mode obviously. If you elect not to bind a key, or later wish to change the key you selected, just restart hardcore mode.

5-14-12: Small change to the toilet script to prevent ladies from getting stuck while going No1. Previously pressing a directional control caused the script to halt leaving the player in a restrained state. Changed it to disable player controls while the sound is playing to avoid the issue. You will still not be able to get up until the sound stops, or a couple seconds after.

5-10-12: Fixed a couple script errors I found. Namely the dirt variable tracking, and the start/stop hardcore option. Should both work right now. Also found an interesting bug where the cha variable gats stored as -0.00, you can see this in the show stats option after you have restored charisma previously damaged from dirt. The game throws out this negative zero, then doesn't know quite how to deal with it. I was able to get around the issue, but I find it interesting so I thought would mention it.

5-9-12: Two new items, Fancy Shampoo, and Bath Beads. Both are sold by Old Lady Gibson, and the Street Vendor on the the Vegas Strip. When sold out they will restock in 7 game days. Having these items in your inventory while bathing will grant the Fresh Scent bouns, which boosts Charisma by 1 for 6 or 12 hours depending on if you have one or both items.

Fixed a bug where toilet sounds still played when pressing fire button even after getting up from the toilet.

Added splash sound when pressing the fire button while in tubs.

5-06-12: New Hardcore mode added. Not dependent on Hardcore mode selection in the game. Default is turned on, but you can turn it off in the toilet paper options menu if you prefer.

Players will have to use toilets, and tubs based on a time scale.

Peeing will need to be done once every 9 hours to avoid having an accident. At the 6 hour mark a message will be displayed "you need to pee 1", and your agility will be decreased by 1. At 7 hours a message saying "you need to pee 2", accompanied by another loss of 1 agility. * hour mark "you need to pee 3" agility -1. This is a total agility loss of 3 at this point. At the 9 hour mark a message saying "you wet yourself" will be displayed. At that point agility will return to normal, and your charisma will drop by .2 Peeing anytime before you wet yourself will reset agility, if any is lost, and reset the timer

Potty will have to be done once every 33 hours to avoid having an accident. Potty is treated the same as pee accept the times are 24, 27, 30, and 33. Each is accompanied by the -1 agility with the 33 mark restoring agility and decreasing charisma by 1.

Bathing will need to be done once a day to avoid a loss in character Charisma. It is handled on the same time scale as potty where 24 hours you get your first message that you need to bathe. Then every 3 hours you will get the message again. The first message results in a chariama drop of 1, and each following message at the 3 hour intervals results in an additional .2 loss to charisma.

The dirt variable is used to track your total charisma loss due to having accidents, and not bathing. every point of dirt is equal to -.2 charisma.

Bathing is the only way to remove dirt and restore your charisma. While bathing you will restore .2 charisma every second you are in the tub. When dirt has been completely removed you will get a message box saying you are clean.

There are two items you will need to have in your inventory to use the toilets and tubs efficently. One is lottery tickets (for toilet paper) the other is abraxo cleaner (for tub bathing). Both of these items have been added to varions merchants throughout New Vegas and they will restock a few seconds after they run out. A full box of cleaner will remove about 60 dirt, and one lotto ticket will be used when using the toilets. Male characters only consume TP when going potty.

The menu has changed to add a few new options, and consolidate the old options. New is show status which will display the time you have to pee, potty, and bathe. It also displays your total dirt, charisma and agility penalties. There is also an option to turn off/restart the needs part of the mod. When turning off the feature your agility and charisma should be restored if they were lowered.

Sleeping will suspend your timers, so you shouldn't get any dirtier or have any accidents while sleeping.

Waiting or fast travel on the other hand won't suspend the timers, so plan accordingly.

When players select to potty on a toilet they will need to press the attack/fire button at least once while seated. Failure to do so will result in the player not registering as having pottied. So don't be shy, fire away!

When the mod is first loaded it may take 2 to 3 minutes for some merchants to get their supply of lottery tickets and abraxo cleaner. Not every merchant will stock these items but I will tell you that chett at the good springs general store does. He is at the very bottom of the list though so it will take multiple iterations of the quest script for him to receive his supply.

All of this is subject to change at any time.

4-29-12: Removed TribalPack.esm dependency

-------------
Installation
-------------

Extract the contents of this archive to the Fallout NV folder. Select the UseableToilets.esp in the data files section, and launch the game.

-------------
unistalling
-------------

Deselect the UseableToilets.esp and select the UseableToiletsUninstall.esp in the data files section. Keep the UseableToiletsUninstall.esp checked until all toilets have been replaced. If after that you find missing toilets just recheck the UseableToiletsUninstall.esp and re-enter the cell where you noticed them missing. The cell will have to load so you may need to change cells then come back.

Some of the static items are replaced as soon as this esp is activated, so place it as low as possible in the load order the first time it is run. After that you can move it higher if you need to.
