What's new in v1.2
-----------------------

I made major changes.
Based upon the classic, I tripled the fire rate from 8 to 24. Now the Bozar shoots exactly like its predecessor: 15 rounds per burst, and a fully loaded magazine is enough for 2 burst shots. The Bozar now eats ammunition three times faster, with much more firepower per burst shot.
In order to avoid excessive damage, I further reduced the single shot damage from 35 to 25.

- Fire rate increased from 8 to 24
- The ammo consumption now is three times faster, 15 rounds per burst, instead of 5
- Single shot damage reduced from 35 to 25
- Default DPS damage is increased to 1349

I made some balance changes.

- Single shot damage reduced from 38 to 35, so the default burst damage is reduced from 684 to 630
- Health reduced from 1000 to the default of 800
- Required AP per burst shot is increased from 22 to 25



Stronger Bozar v1.0

1. Introduction
-------------------

The Bozar - "The ultimate refinement of the sniper's art" - firstly appeared in Fallout 2.
I think it was one of the most powerful heavy ranged weapons all the time in the Fallout universe, using the very common and cheap ammunition .223 FMJ (similar to the 5.56mm in Fallout 3 and NV). When requirements reached - minimum strength of 6 and fairly enough of Big Guns skill - and the Bozar equipped together with a Power Armor, the player was almost unstoppable.
I remember the battle at Camp Navarro, when I fired one of the Enclave soldiers wearing Advanced Power Armor at relative close range, and critically hit the poor bastard for approximately 900 hit points... brutal.

And nowadays, playing New Vegas, I was happy when finally collected the very expensive price of this killer weapon... and I was so disappointed (and so dead), when I tried it the first time against a pack of Deathclaws at Gypsum Trainyard. I couldn't believe it: one burst shot damaged 35-40 HP maximum, and the gun's spread was ridiculous. Who agree with me? This weapon is absolutely useless at it's default combat values and not worthy of the name "Bozar"... until now.


2. Description
------------------

After this disappointing experience, I made this little mod to the Bozar again be the same brutal weapon, like in Fallout 2: One burst shot - one portion of a bloody pulp, without limbs.
So I simply doubled the single shot damage (and thus, multiplied the DPS), greatly reduced the weapons's spread, tripled the range and increased the fire rate, in the first round.
And then, I made some other changes for better match with the classic: reduced the strength requirement, increased the weight and the required AP in V.A.T.S., and removed the "(GRA)" tag from the weapon name. Now I think the weapon handling, damage and the battle experience is almost the same like in Fallout 2... but maybe some other changes are still needed... If necessary, I'm working on it.


Here are the changes:

- Single shot damage increased from 19 to 38
- Fire rate increased from 6.67 to 8.00
- Spread reduced from 0.75 to 0.10
- Maximum range increased from 1024 to 3072
- Required AP per burst shot increased from 18 to 22
- Weight increased from 15 to 20
- Strength requirement reduced from 8 to 6
- Health increased from 800 to 1000
- (GRA) tag removed from name


3. Installation
-----------------

Gun Runners Arsenal DLC required!
Unpack Stronger Bozar.esp to the \Fallout New Vegas\Data folder and check it in the FNV launcher or in the FOMM mod loading list.


4. Uninstallation
---------------------

Delete Stronger Bozar.esp from the \Fallout New Vegas\Data folder.
