What does this mod do?
It adds wearable Underwear to the Wasteland; this underwear can be worn underneath any armor or clothing.

The base barter value of the underwear can be customized through the in-game mod menu, as well as whether NPCs will be given any underwear, whether the mod should affect males, females or both, and whether the player should use an underwear mesh different from the NPCs' one.

This mod is based on Undies Underneath from popcorn71 for Oblivion, and is thus named accordingly.

I installed it, but nothing happened...
The mod starts out with every option disabled; you must enable them through the in-game mod menu or the mod won't actually do anything.

Do I need any DLC or any other mod?
Requires NVSE and at least one nude body replacer... personally, i use Breezes New Vegas Males and DIMONIZED Type3 Body Official Release.

The menu will automatically switch to the MCM version if The Mod Configuration Menu is detected.

DLCs are not required.

I don't really like the included default meshes... can I change them?
Sure!
If you want a different mesh for females, rename the .nif file that you want to "femaleupperbody.nif" and place it in Data\Meshes\UUndies\f
If you want a different mesh for males, rename the .nif file that you want to "upperbodymale-underwear.nif" and place it in Data\Meshes\UUndies\m

What should I do to get a different underwear mesh for my character?
If you want the player to use a unique underwear mesh:
if female rename the .nif file that you want to "female.nif" and place it in Data\Meshes\UUndies\player
if male rename the .nif file that you want to "male.nif" and place it in Data\Meshes\UUndies\player

Then, activate it using the in-game menu.

I changed the mesh files, but Where should I put their texture files?
The path where texture files should be put is defined by the mesh file; generally, leaving the texture file where it would normally be (as after installing the mod it's included into or following its author instructions) should do the trick.

Is there any mod incompatibility?
This mod is not compatible with Children of the Wasteland nor children in general; if a child happens to equip this mod's underwear, it will still work but they'll look like short adults.
This is not going to be fixed, and by the way you shouldn't be using a nude body replacer for kids in the first place.
(Children of the Wasteland is not a nude body replacer for kids, it just lets you play as a child)

Also, this mod will auto-detect the presence of Body by Race ... but it needs both the archives "Armor by Race w Removeable Undies" and "Body by Race" to be installed and active.

If you happen to find another, please post in the mod's comments section of the Nexus and I'll do my best to check and fix it as soon as I read your message.
Just please, afer that check that section from time to time; I may have not been able to reproduce the bug, and/or may need more info to track it down.

Alright, I'll give it a chance... how do I install this mod?
To install it, use FoMM or extract "Meshes", "Textures" and "UndiesUnderneath.esp" in your Fallout3\Data folder.

And if I want to uninstall it?
Use FOMM again or delete the folder "UUndies" from Data\Meshes and Data\Textures, and the file "UndiesUnderneath.esp" from your Data folder.

Can I edit or upload this mod anywhere else?
Feel free to modify, expand, use and release the scripts included in this mod as you see fit.
For meshes and textures you should refer to their author(s) (Breeze582000 for males and Exeter for females).

All the credit for the meshes and textures used is for their authors, Breeze582000 and Exeter.

The included underwear meshes are from the underwear version of Breezes New Vegas Males by sesom and Type3 Body and Armor replacer by Exeter.
