"There is a saying that in the coldest nights in the wastelands if you peer into the campfire closely and listen long enough, you can hear the desert dust wind bringing the whispers of the trail. Where many have thread, but so few had returned. What awaits at the end? Fame,
fortune or the cold whispers of death..."

A nice suggestion :
the portable campsite mod is a nice addition to the mod (considering there is no map markers while on the trail :) )

=Story=

After their home was destroyed the new canaanites wandered for many days.Supplies were running low, cretures and sickness claimed many of them. But when all seemed lost, they found it. A perfect valley, paredise. And so New Canaan was reborn again.

To start the story speak to the Mac the caravan boss in Crimson Caravan

So as i get so many requests here is some spoilers!

<The following lines highlight future content that is in developement>

So there are 4 main ways to start the story of Path To New Canaan.

The first one as obvious as it is is by taking a side turn in Zion and just traverse trough the caves and end up in the valley. - not implemented yet
The second one is heeding the patriotic call of the NCR, calling for brave pioneers into expanding more upwest in the new old frontier :D
this is now obsolete, the NCR line is entirely optional

THe third one is being turned into a legion slave, forced to fight for Caesar's war with the White Star Trading CO. ( Second biggest caravan company they say. Their army of mercs are feared by Legion and NCR ) turning the whole valley into a small vietnam
This is now obsolete too, as you will be able in future updates to start your own caravan company

The forth one is acting as a FOTA agent, trying to save the people from the madness of the wastes.

lore conflicting at major scale, not being implemented

The fifth bonus one is when u activate the P.Hoss Army Man mod. In it, Nevada's Defensive force ( remnants of the desert rangers, enclave and mojave volunteers to fight the independance for Nevada from House, NCR, Legion and all other tyrants.) Being recruited and sent in with the first assault wave on old NORAD bunker. Trying to seize the old nuclear arsenal.

All those roads meet their end into the newly formed New Canaan. Its up to the player to decide which part to take, but in the end he must chose either to join the New Canaanites, Or to destroy them forever.
- depending entirely on your factions, progression and gameplay choice

And on top of all, you can expect some old faces from the East Coast, travelled for four years to reach yet another conflict.

There are positions open for people who would like to assists me with NPC's Quests, Dialogues and more.

from the original readme text:
"Feel free to mess around and modify the backpack for personal use.
If you decide to include it in a project you're planning to publicly release,
credit and a link to the project would be appreciated :)"

Thats from the Lionheart backpack readme. I got permission from Volek too who ported it over from fallout 3.
