Salvaged Courier Armor
First Custom Armor for Type 6!
The Couriers journey is a long one. From Goodsprings to New Vegas, the Divide to Hover Dam. By all intents and purpose, my Wasteland Courier armor has seen a lot of you on your own Lonesome Road. How many times have you patched it up, I wonder?
When I bought Lonesome Road I knew I'd be taking Ulysses coat from him. I thought it'd be fitting as even though my Courier was good inclined, I knew the only message she carried was death. I didn't want to just wear his outfit though... I wanted my own. Samantha Six has been through a lot along the way and I thought it'd be a fun thing to revisit my original armor that made so many of you happy in the first days of the FNV Nexus community. Now, I could have just dirtied it up and ripped my own work off... but it occurred to me that there really wouldn't be much left of the original armor at this point. So instead, it's more of a successor in spirit. I also couldn't resist the opportunity to actually SHOW the platinum chip as being in the couriers possession.
I've included here the both the longcoat (21 texture, as I thought she should re-purpose it a bit) version and coatless versions. They are both available in one of the lockers at Wolfhorn Ranch. Which means that you're going to have to have some self control and not put the longcoat version on until it suits you to. ;)
Also included is a vanilla version for those without Lonesome Road.
Male version is a work in progress but WILL be coming. Males never got to enjoy the original Courier armor I did, might as well make one for them this time around.
If you find any problems with the armor let me know. It seems to function just fine in game.
NOTE: This has been constructed using the Type 6 body, but it should be noted that it should be perfectly compatible with Type 3. You'll just look a bit better now is all ;)
Installation:
Just drag and drop the meshes, textures and esp to your data folder.
Uninstall:
Simply delete the files.
Versions:
1.1.1 - Another .esp fixed this time to the vanilla version. Should be working now.
1.1 - Fixed bad .esp on both versions. Should stop the armor from spawning in every military locker 01 as well as flagged the DLC version properly. Added NCR/Legion/Old World coats as an optional file!
