This Mods adds over 50 different variants/configurations (55 different meshes) of the Magpul Masada ACR (Adaptive Combat Rifle) to New Vegas. They will aid you in tackling almost any mission the Mojave Wastes can throw at you. The Masada Adaptive Combat Rifle comes in 3 versions, 10.5 inch barrel for close quarter combat, 14.5 inch barrel Mid range combat, and the semi auto 18.5” barrel Designated Marksman configuration. Each versions are mounted with a combination Magpul’s top of the line accessories like MBUS, AFG, Ranger plate, PMAG and other popular firearm accessories to increase survivability of your courier. You can find your first Masada at the Goodsprings School. The rest are sold by vendors, (Chet, Mick, Knight Torres, Sgt Contreras, Lacey, Bardon, Cliff). The Masada ACR is sometimes known as the Bushmaster ACR or the Remington ACR.

This mod started out because I want to play fallout with a masada configured like Richard “Mach” Machowicz's Masada in his show Future weapons. I’m a fan of that show and of Mach. So I try to make my own err “Mach Masada” for personal use and for the betterment of the Mojave Wastes. lol.(though not entirely modeled by me, see credits section to see referrence to other authors) At first, I am having second thoughts in sharing this because the mod is not perfect and there are a lot of good Masada/ACR mods out there.I finally decided to share this, and hope that some fallout fans will enjoy this as I have.

uploaded version 1.3 of the mod. Added some detail on the textures. Esp's untouched yet since i lost my GECK when i reformat my PC lately.

uploaded version 1.2 of the mod. corrected clipping on the 10.5 variant vert grip by integrating joefoxx's weapon animation replacers (in case issues arise. please download the entire joefoxx animation replacers. refer link to the credits section) some of my textures needs to be updated especially the magazine textures. they don't match with the rifle ( i will fix the textures on my next update)

added the balanced version ESP on a separate download. Just download it and overwrite your ESP with the one at the balanced version ESP if you want the balanced version.

Over 140 different kinds of Masada (55 different meshes)

3 barrel Masada variants
10.5” barrel variant for close quarter combat = Fastest rate of fire, Largest DPS, Widest Spread, uses 5.56 round
14.5” barrel variant for assault = Slightly Lower rate of fire than 10.5” variant but with a higher damage per shot, more accurate than the 10.5” variant. uses 5.56 round
18.5” barrel variant as Designated Marksman Rifle = Semi automatic, same accuracy as vanila sniper rifle, high damage per shot. uses .308 round

Accessories / Attachments
Supressor = Silences the weapon but reduces damage to 80% of the unsupressed configuration (note, suppressed weapon has no damage reduction at the balanced version)
Foregrip = decreases weapon spread
Eotech Holosight = decreases AP cost, No magnification holosight
Scope or Magnifier = zooms to take out farther targets
Lasers and Taclight = Increases Critical chance
Mbus = Replaces conventional iron sights, No magnification, but with polycarbonate to aid shooting in low light areas

Camouflage / Color (Work in Progress)
Black (10.5 variants only, and some 14.5 variants)
Tan or Dark Earth = They are not exactly the same colour. I colored the rifle Dark Earth but I named it Tan since Tan is a shorter name and it can be easily understood. Moreover the rifle looks more like tan when lit in game. (14.5 variants only)
ACUPAT = Army Combat Uniform Pattern (available in all 3 variants)
DPAT = Dessert Pattern (18.5 variants only)
MCAM = Multicam or Multi camouflage (14.5 variants only)
Ghost = Combination of black and Gray (18.5 variants only)

Note: Sadly, I don’t know anything about scripting so I can’t make this run like crysis in which you can swap/switch attachments on the fly. the attachment comes fixed to the weapon and you have to buy the variant that you like.

I also made a test container inside Goodsprings Cave. I use this container to test the Masadas. you can also take advantage of this.


[SIZE="3"]Issues[/SIZE]

This is my first time modelling and texturing a weapon in a game so there are several issues on the meshes as well as the textures. Hope they don’t bother you. Like the none moving bolt carrier, the weird light below the bolt carrier, and so on.
Respawn times at vendors. I don’t know what is the frequency of the items respawning at their respective vendors. I just quit and reload the game so that they will respawn and I can buy them again. Need help resolving
The meshes are a bit hi-poly and may cause problems on slower machines.
So far it does not conflict with any other mod as long as they don't modify the holdout weapons list.
These Masadas are a bit overpowered. I have also made a an optional balanced ESP to suite your game play.

[SIZE="3"]Requirements[/SIZE]

Fallout New Vegas (theoretically this will run without any DLC installed)
Needs the Latest update or patch for Fallout New Vegas.


[SIZE="3"]Installation[/SIZE]
1. Extract the files from the archive.
2. Copy files to (install folder)\Fallout New Vegas\Data\ (in case you want the balanced version overwrite the ESP with the ESP found at the "Optianal Balanced ESP" folder
3. Run Fallout NV Launcher, click 'Data Files', put a checkmark beside the .esp file.
4. If using FOMM, do the first 2 steps above first. Run FOMM and place the checkmark beside the .esp file. There should be an ESP file if you place the contents of the archive on the right folder. DO NOT USE FOMM'S PACKAGE MANAGER OR IT WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS.
(if you do not find the esp, it means that you misplace the contents of the archive to another folder, if you see a large red exclamation point, please refer to the basic tutorials on the nexus on how to install fallout 3 / fallout new vegas mods.)

[SIZE="3"]Uninstallation.[/SIZE]
1.Uncheck the .esp file using either Fallout NV Launcher or Fomm
2.Delete the folder Masada under (install folder)\Fallout New Vegas\Data\Textures and (install folder)\Fallout New Vegas\Data\Meshes
