What\'s this? Christine back in the Wasteland? That\'s right, people. Now you can have her as a companion after Dead Money.

*WHERE TO FIND CHRISTINE*

1.4 Just did another update - Liberal use of TESsnip, should solve a few problems. You can just drop this one in to replace the old one hopefully. It's all a gamble.


1.3 is up with a version cleaned to contain only her and her bits. If you put it up higher in the mod order it shouldn't break anything, or just make a bashed patch. Hopefully this one works since I pretty much lost the old one. So now anything that it breaks you can blame RR companions and not me, although I think that it messed around with a few things despite being awesome.

So anyway, here it is, likely the final version. Have fun with her.

As of 1.2, Christine can now be found in the Abandoned BOS bunker. Which for those of you who don't know
- it's the place you came out of when you finished Dead Money.You can hire her without finishing Dead Money, but that would be kind of
dumb so I would recommend finishing it before you activate this mod.

*ABOUT*

Basically the ending of Dead Money where she stays in the Madre seemed a bit dumb to me. Christine
shows a fair bit of personality and sitting around jerking off in the office of an abandoned building
seems like a terrible way to spend one's time. So I made this mod that has her leaving that dump and coming
to check out the Wasteland. I know right? Cool.

Christine also adds a perk as your companion. It's called the Silent Treatment, and it's pretty much
the same as Terrifying presence. You get it permanently, whether she is in your party or not. I chose to
do this because it seemed odd to just forget a skill when someone left. Maybe it was the trauma.

Christine doesn't talk, but there is loads of dialogue back with her hand signals and meaningful looks. This
is partly explained in the mod as to why it has happened again. It's all quite lore friendly so don't worry.

Christine has her own dialogue for weapons, stats, inventory, conversation etc etc, I've taken out all the RR companion stuff now except for the 'goodbye' but if you say 'let's get going she will give her unique "comment" and it won't be an issue.

If you find any errors let me know and I'll get on it lickity split.

*LOAD ORDER*

RR Companion Vault seems to change a fair bit of stuff, so I would recommend putting her reasonably high
in your load order, certainly above Nevada skies at the very least. If she's up high everything will still
work.

*INSTALLATION *

Just drop the .esp file into your folder and enable it either through FOMM or in the date files

*UN-INSTALLATION*

Uncheck, drop in recycle bin.


*REQUIREMENTS*

YOU WILL NEED DEAD MONEY AND ALSO RR COMPANIONS. Without Dead Money Christine will have no face. You don't
need to have the .esm active, but you should have the .BSA because that's where her textures are.

If you don't have RR companions it will crash on startup. If you haven't yet downloaded it, you can get it here

As of 1.5 The .esm for RR is included since I just found out you're allowed to use it if you credit the author. Which I am now doing so, thanks heaps for making such an easy way to Mod companions!

Note - One user seemed to have a problem with Back in the saddle with this mod enabled, so maybe don't tick it until you've done that one.
