UPDATE PURPLE DRANK: Yeah, I add vodka to Purple Drank. So what?

New version properly accounts for items spawned in the various DLCs, and reduces the crash-to-desktop issues some users were reporting. I've also added a few more items, not misc items but non-pick-up-able (shut up its a word) moveable objects: the Pickaxe and Welding Gun, as well as the Microphone and Stand, which was technically a misc item but had no collision mesh so it couldn't be grabbed.

This mod adds weapon versions of a few items in the MISC (miscellaneous) category. These weapon versions can be obtained by simply picking up the normal versions of the standard miscellaneous item: each item now as a script which will silently replace it with the weapon version whenever it is added to ANY container or inventory (including yours).

CURRENT WEAPONS (alphabetization is for sober people):

Baseball (throws for KO damage)

Butter Knife (the metal kind only)

Because these are now weapons, several of them have been added to various low-level weapon distribution lists. The random thugs in Freeside are especially known for using makeshift weapons.

This also changes over the moveable static (as in can't pick up) Shovels (coal shovels) and Brooms with Weapon versions of these items. I've replaced all the instances in the base game with the weapon versions, but if you're using a mod or DLC that has 'em you can still get the weapon. Just shoot the moveable item (with a gun, can't melee) and it'll be automagically replaced with the weapon version.

In the future I hope to alter several more items, not only in the form of melee weapons but possibly as thrown weapons as well. Just imaging winging a paperweight at a fiend's head. Go on. You know you want to.

This mod also alters the crafting recipe for Weapon Repair Kits to use the new weapon version of the wrench, as well as Doctor's Bags to use the new version of the Scalpel.

There are also reconversion or "Weap-to-Misc" recipes that allow you to turn your weapons back into misc items, for mods and such that depend on the miscellaneous version. This can be done at any workbench, and requires no special skills.

Second, I haven't been taking screenshots. My bad. I'll get around to it, eventually, but if anybody wants to take some I've set the images section to accept user uploads.

Third, I can't seem to get NifSkope to do EXACTLY what I want it to do. The updated meshes display correctly, but behind the scenes the physical boundaries are completely misaligned. I can't rotate/adjust both at the same time and still have the changes show up, for some odd reason. (If that made no sense: DRUNK) If someone could figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong and how to do it right that would be GEEERATE.
