BIS - Brumbek's Inventory Sorting v1.65
10/14/2012

This mod renames every single item you can pick up to have a four letter abbreviation followed by a colon in front of the item name based on the category of the item. This mod is for obsessive compulsive players who want to very easily see all items of a certain kind grouped together.

The key benefits of using this mod are:

-All weapons are grouped together so you can easily see what killing tools you have available.
-You can find different types of armor for every occasion without checking their stats.
-You can see which food items are used in recipes to avoid eating things needed for delicious meals.
-You can easily tell what clutter objects are used as components and what are just plain worthless.
-A general feeling of being well-ordered, +5 to OCD stat.

INSTALLATION

To use my mod with the recommended settings, just install the "BIS - Brumbek's Inventory Sorting.esp". Also install "BIS - More Cactus Water Recipes.esp" if you don't use another mod that adds Cactus Water recipes. Also install the DLC patches if you use the DLC.

Then install any of the files in the "Compatibility Patches" if you need them. Be sure to have the compatibility patch .esps load AFTER BOTH the mod they patch and the main BIS .esp(s). See the next section for a load order example.

-Fixed two Gun Runners weapons being incorrectly labeled as WGUN instead of proper WEXP.

1.63

1.62
-Added Gun Runners Arsenal DLC patch.
-Fixed the transporter gun in Old World Blues to be UTIL, not WMEL.
-Updated Inofficial Patch plugins to recent 0.32 version.

1.61
-Added Lonesome Road patch. I’ll update all the mod patches soonish once they release Lonesome Road updates.

1.60
-Added FNVIcons 2.2 patch.
-Updated and fixed Weapon Mods Recipes for WMX patches to work with 1.01c version.

1.59

-Fixed one inconsequential entry in main BIS .esp.
-Fixed major error in WMX-DLC BIS patches for Dead Money and Honest Hearts.
-Added patches for Arwen's Realism Tweaks version 2.5 mod.

1.58
-Fixed WMX Dead Money and Honest Hearts patches to have correct master load order.
-Updated Project Nevada support to 2.2 plus added support for it's patches, well at least WMX and Rebalanced Rebalance.

1.57
-Fixed a few offical patch 1.4 changes I missed in main .esp and a few in Old World Blues patch.
-Updated Classic Fallout Weapons patch to 3.1c latest version.
-Updated WMX and it's patches to 1.0.9.
-Updated FOOK to 0.70.
-Updated Inofficial Patch to just released 0.27 version.
-Updated DLC patches to use some Inofficial Patch changes.

1.56
-Added Old World Blues support plugin. Fixed Spore Carrier Sap in Honest Hearts to not be marked as QUES. Fixed Yeast and Deathclaw Egg to both be COMP instead of MISC. Thanks to yiron for all three of these item fixes.

1.55
-Updated main .esp for official patch 1.4. Added support for "Weight Rebalance" mod, although BIS already has some of those changes built-in. Updated Compiled Patch BIS plugin for 1.4 patch as well.

1.54
-Added "Inofficial Community Bugfix patch 0.24" support. This is an updated version of the original Community Bugfix Compiliation. Use this or the other. Also updated main BIS and Honest Hearts BIS to include some fixes from Inofficial CBP, such as Veronica's 10mm and HH .45 Auto change.

1.53
-Added Project Nevada 2.0a support, the implant items from the "Cyberware" module have the "IMPL" tag.
-Added Classic Fallout Weapons 3.0r1 support.
-Added "COMP" to Tanned Gecko Hide for FOOK BIS patch. Sprint Mod BIS patch renamed to match mod name.

1.52
-FOOK support updated to version 0.50 of FOOK.
-Fixed Honest Hearts Tanned Green Gecko Hide to be COMP, not MISC in BIS - Honest Hearts.esp.
-Fixed Holorifle missing tag in FOOK DLCs.esp.

1.51
-I removed the name changes to all the War Club Honest Hearts weapons since they caused the game to crash due to a strange bug…unsure how to fix currently. Updated a few things in the main BIS and Dead Money BIS patch.

-Also added support for version 0.40 of FOOK.

-Also renamed water items to "Water (Quality)" for better sorting like FOOK does it. Same with "DRNK: Nuka-Cola (Ice Cold)". Fixed "Medical Supplies" to be QUES item.

-Also added "+" designation to all non-food items that can be used in crafting, like FOOK does it. Food items used in crafting still use the FODR designation since this provides for easier sorting of food.

1.5
-Included the official 1.3 patch changes. Honest Hearts support added. All compatibility patches updated to latest versions.

1.4.2
-Updated CBC Dead Money patch to reflect 1.02 changes of that mod. Fixed one AMMO name for Dead Money .esp.

1.4.1
-Fixed Dead Money .esps for Sierra Madre helmets to be HEAD, changed Junk Food to FODR and Pilot Light to COMP since Dead Money has recipes using these items.

1.4
-Updated all compatibility patches with the most recent versions of the mods as of 3/07/2011.
-Added several new compatibility patches.
-Added Dead Money DLC .esp thanks to LLJKTechnogeek, with a few additional changes of my own.
-Dropped support for the addon .esps since they weren't recommended anyway.

1.3
-Changed Buffalo Gourd Seed from FODR to FOOD since Patch 1.2 changed that. Reworked addons for my mod to make it simpler, now all addons are installed in addition to the main .esp instead of some being main .esp replacements. Updated readme and added load order guide.

1.2
-I've added several compatibility patches including the Community Bugfix Patch v1.06, Kobu's Better Binoculars, Weapon Mod Expansion, Grenade Hotkey, ELECTRO-CITY, Primary Needs v2.X, Nevada Skies URWLified, and patches for all the DLC Promo Bonus Pack items.

-I've removed support for the older weapon naming that doesn't have a "W" in front since the "WXXX" format is superior.

-Updated Bobblehunt patch to reflect fixed version 1.30 of that mod.

-I've fixed several oversights regarding recipe food item changes from Patch 1.2. Thanks to King Zog for informing me of several FOOD items I mistakenly labeled FODR.

-I've separated AIDS from CHEM items. The key difference is AIDS are helpful items you CANNOT get addicted to. All the CHEMs are drugs or "buff" type items that you can get addicted to.

-alexandersig gave me permission to add a replacement version of Moddable Unique Weapons in order to make my mod fully work with his. So now you should use one of the two versions and overwrite his original .esp. Replacement .esp's based on version 2.1.2 of his mod with my own fixes for Official Patch 1.2 changes.

1.1Updated the mod to reflect the changes made by NV patch 1.2. Patch 1.2 updated most energy weapons to have altered damage and criticals, changed some ammo types for energy weapons, added some effects to energy weapons, changed other miscellaneous stuff, lowered number of items needed for recipes, fixed some bugs like the Mushroom Cloud recipe bug, and so forth.

1.0Initial release.

LOAD ORDER GUIDE

I recommend loading the main BIS .esp somewhere in the middle of your load order, and then load all mods that BIS will be patching, then finally load the BIS patch's last. So BIS main first, mods to patch, actual BIS patches, in that order, except where that isn't possible since the base mod must load first. Example:
