Notes

Regrettably, time constraints have conspired to keep both of us (ttomwv and ladydesire) from being able to devote the time to this mod that it deserves, and needs to work the last of the kinks out to make a fully playable companion system. Further unfortunately, this does not appear likely to change in the near future. Therefore, we can only in good conscience declare this mod on indefinite hiatus, and recommend that you use NCCS for creating new companions. As NCCS and RR are very similar in concept and scripting, it should provide you a similar experience; albeit still supported by new bugfixes. The RR Companions Vault for New Vegas file entry will be left up in deference to people who have already created companions using the system, but no further updates will be made in the foreseeable future. Our apologies to any and all who may have been inconvenienced by this turn of events.

Notes

This mod is based on a merger of the latest version of the Fallout 3 RR Companions Vault (currently 5.63) and updated code by ttomwv to support some new features of Fallout: New Vegas.

I have also placed several of the companions that come with the RR Companions Vault in locations in Goodsprings; Rick is located in the Prospector Saloon and Sandra is in the General Store. Jill can be found in the Sheriff's Office in Primm.

At this time, Vault 121 (the replacement for the original Vault 1) is not available for use, but will soon be activated.

The RR Companions Vault was created by NosRhyfelwr Permission was given for this conversion to New Vegas. The RR Mod was created to let users easily create custom companions for fallout.

Description

This mod is a companion system designed to make it easy for users to create companions. It comes with a few companions and a tutorial to make it easy to create your own custom companions. For private use or to upload for others to use.

Files

RR Companions Vault
The main file that holds the companion system and companions. Just extract this to your steam/steamapps/common/fallout new vegas/data folder. Enable the file in the Fallout New vegas launcher.

Note:
The 1.3 version fixes a bug where when you told a companion to stay and the player sat and stood back up. The companion would start following again without an order being given. The default companion package for waiting when not recruited was changed to a sanbox package and the area was increased. Some code was added to fix an issue where the companions would not follow a player when changing cells. If the companion was searching for an enemy or in combat.
