Start outside Doc Mitchell\'s house and rebuild your character with a menu in the style of the vault exit in Fallout 3. The rebuild menu outside Goodsprings is also updated. Free Wild Wasteland trait option included.

Disclaimer:

Mods of this nature are tricky. They circumvent the starting quests/scripts but have to set all same flags. I believe I have everything correct, but there's always the possibility that something left out will need to be added through the console to keep your game from being borked. If you make it all the way through the game with no troubles, please let me know.

Start outside Doc Mitchell's house and rebuild your character with a menu in the style of the vault exit in Fallout 3.

*Free Wild Wasteland option included.

*New characters must go through all menus once, then get options to see the individual menus.

*Gives the correct starting equipment just as though you had talked with Doc.

*Second rebuild menu after leaving Goodsprings also changed. Save a character there for easy revising. You can choose to add or remove the free Wild Wasteland trait here too.

*If you are using custom perks or traits and use the rebuild option outside of Goodsprings, you'll need to remove them yourself using the console. The script has no way of finding and removing those.

Important Note

If you started a character with version 1.0, run this command in the console:

getquestrunning 00168A86

If it comes back with:

GetQuestRunning >> 0.00

Run this command:

StartQuest 00168A86

Now if you do getquestrunning 00168A86, you should get:

GetQuestRunning >> 1.00
