Okay, this is my second attempt at making a small Vault-type player house, the first time it had so many problems I took it down.

This house starts on the edge of Goodsprings, you can see it from Doc. Mitchell's doorway. There are spoilers at the bottom of the page if you get slightly lost about the doors etc.

This Vault includes:

Living Room
2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and beds that give the Well Rested bonus.
Communal bathroom
Systems room (purely cosmetic)
Kitchen/Diner with storage
Firing range
Workshop with both workbenches
Weapon and armour storage room (an ammo crate for every type of ammo, a plenty of cabinets for guns and armour)
New weapon, the Rebored Hunting Rifle - a slightly less powerful version of the Hunting Rifle that takes 5.56mm ammunition, and can be repaired with standard hunting rifles.

There are no god items or other cheats.


There is a tiny little quest attached to this, although it's more of a backstory to the existence of the Vault than a quest.

When you first walk into the Vacant Shack you will notice a sandbag wall. Behind that wall is a table with a key and a note. The key opens the manhole outside, which is the back door into the Personal Vault (and right next to the storage room for easy dropoffs).

The keycard to the front door is located in the Systems room, on the table. In front of the front door is another note.

-------------Known Issues-------------

When entering the back door, occasionally your followers will not join you. Waiting for an hour will make them appear next to you. I don't know what is causing this.

Doors are not automatic. I tried to set them to 'Automatic Door', and they messed up the game spectacularly.

Cannot seem to make the safe start as 'Key Required', but it'll turn to 'Key Required' the first time you lock it

-------------Future Additions-------------

I need to add some visual lights here and there, and of course I'll update if I find a fix for the follower behaviour.

I also want to 'flesh out' the rooms a little more, by adding clutter and furniture.
