1. About This Mod
--------------------------

This mod adds 20 Bobbleheads into various areas in New Vegas. There is no Big Guns Bobblehead, obviously as this skill no longer exists. There is a Survival Bobblehead (which uses the Perception Model) and the Small Guns Bobblehead has been changed to just "Guns."

Unlike the other mod that adds the bobbleheads, these are largely unchanged in regards to the stats they change. (With the exception of Small Guns and Survival as mentioned above.) There are Bobbleheads for each of the seven S.P.E.C.I.A.L skills, which add +1 to each, just like in FO3. Also there are 13 bobbleheads for each skill, which add +10% to it's specific skill; also just like in FO3. It's up to you to decide weather this is "unbalanced" or not. I just wanted to add the bobbleheads back into NV without changed their functions from FO3.

There are two versions of this mod. The first version adds the bobbleheads in hidden (and sometimes very dangerous) areas throughout New Vegas. They are hidden in areas which make sense to the skills or stats they alter, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out where to find them. However, there is a separate Readme included which gives you hints as to where each of them are. As well as another Readme which outright tells you where they are. Once again, it's up to you to decide if you want hints or just want to be told where they are.

As if that weren't enough, the second version of this mod does not hide the bobbleheads at all. Instead, you will find all 20 of them inside Doc Mitchell's house, in his bedroom on a bookcase. Use this mod if you don't give a rats-ass about hunting them down or don't care about cheating; which is pretty much what it is. ;)

***I take no credit for creating this display or any of the bobblehead's themselves. They were created by Bethesda Softworks. I simply converted them over from Fallout 3.***

2. What's new in 1.2?
--------------------------

- It is no longer considered stealing to pickup any of the Bobbleheads. Also, no NPCs should ever pick them up now either.

- There is now a seperate .esp that adds the Bobblehead Collector's Display Stands.

- Added a display case in the Novac Hotel Player's Room. This is in addition to the one already added at the Lucky 38 Floor 22 Suite.

- Added some lights near the Display Cases.

- Fixed the way Display Cases function. They should now function properly and display the motivational phrase when you select them on the case, instead of allowing you to pick them back up and regain the buff.

**Added in 1.2a**

- Placing Bobbleheads on either display case will now activate them in both locations.

3. READ THIS IF YOU USED ONE OF THE OLD VERSIONS!!
---------------------------------------------------------

If you have already downloaded a previous version and would like to use the new Display Stands but have already placed some Bobbleheads on the old stand, you will need to do one of the following:

1. Take the bobbleheads off the display stand, thereby regaining the buff for a second time. If you are okay with this, proceed to save your game after removing them, quit and re-launch New Vegas; Uncheck the old .esp, and check one of the new Bobblehead .esp's plus the Display Case .esp; Proceed to your room and place the bobbleheads on the new case. Now you're good to go.

2. Leave the bobbleheads on the case, quit and re-launch New Vegas. Uncheck the old .esp, and check one of the new Bobblehead .esp's plus the Display Case .esp; Now, depending on which .esp you chose you will either need to re-hunt for the Bobblehead you already had or go to Doc Mitchell's house and pick up the ones you already had.

I know this kind of sucks, but there really is no other way. If you were to try to use the old .esp's with the new display case .esp, you would end up having two display cases overlapping each other at the Lucky 38 Suite. I appologize, but it really is easier to have the display cases as a seperate .esp. If you have no plan on using the Lucky 38 suite display case and just want to use the new Novac one, you should be okay to use the old version with the new display case .esp. Just make sure you never use the case at the Lucky 38!

There is something you can do if you don't like getting the buff twice:

After picking up the Bobbleheads again using either method one or two, you can open up the console and use this command to reset your skills back to what they were before: "player.modav skillname -10" or "player.modav skillname -1" if you picked up one of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L Bobbleheads. Replace skillname with the skill you want to change, for example "player.modav Guns -10" for Guns or "player.modav Agility -1" for Agility.

If you have some bobbleheads in your inventory from an old version but not placed on the display case, you are good to go. Just select one of the new .esp's plus the Display Case .esp and proceed as normal. Note that the bobbleheads you have in your inventory will be added back into the world, so don't go picking them up again!

This is true with both methods. Any bobbleheads you have already collected will be added back into the game when you select one of the new .esps. There is no way around this. Just don't pick them up again!

--------------------------
4. How to install
--------------------------

To install, simply extract the contents of the archive to your New Vegas data folder and choose the .esp you would like to use when launching the game. If you want to use the display cases, select the Bobblehead - Cases.esp when launching the game. But be sure you also select one of .esps that actually adds the Bobbleheads! (Either Bobbleheads - Hidden or Bobbleheads - Not Hidden)

--------------------------
5. How to Uninstall
--------------------------

To remove this mod, simply delete the .esp from your New Vegas data folder.

6. Can't find the explosives Bobblehead?
--------------------------------------------

Alright, so here is the deal with the Explosives Bobblehead:

There are actually two versions of the Hangar. In one version, the plane in the middle is in pieces and is still being built. The second version, the plane has been completed. These are two different zones/cells. Those of you who are not seeing the Bobblehead where it is supposed to be, are in the first version of the cell. The bobblehead is actually located in the second cell; the one with the completed plane.

A quest is required to gain access to this second area. So for those of you who are not seeing the bobblehead, you need to do the quest to complete the plane. After it's done and you go back into the hangar, the bobblehead will be there. The quest is called "Volare!" and you get it from an NPC named Pearl.

I must also make a special thanks to antilit82 for helping test this and for figuring out the problem. Thanks!

7. Version Info
--------------------------

1.0 - Initial Release. All 20 bobbleheads are here. Two different .esp's; one where they are hidden in various locations, and another where they are all in Doc Mitchell's House.

1.1 - Collector's Display Update. I've add a Bobblehead Collector's Display Stand in the Lucky38 Casino Floor 22 Suite next to the Snowglobe Display. Currently everything functions properly in both the hidden and non hidden versions.

1.2 - I've changed the way the .esp's work now. There is now a seperate .esp that contains just the display cases and two that add the Bobbleheads; one where they are hidden and one where they are not. Also a new display case has been added to the player's room at the Novac Motel. Also cleaned up the .esp's a bit and fixed Display Stands. They should now function properly and display the motivational phrase when you select them on the case, instead of allowing you to pick them back up and regain the buff.

1.2a - Placing Bobbleheads on either display case will now activate them in both locations.

This mod was made by me, Ashen7. However, all I did was alter a few lines of script and place the bobbleheads in the world. The original models and scripts were created by Bethesda Softworks, and I take no credit for their creation. Also, a special thanks to antilit82 for helping with the Explosives Bobblehead problem.

You may NOT alter this mod or distribute it without my permission. Email me to ask, please. Also a HUGE thanks to Brumbek for providing the optional skins and survival bobblehead model; and to antilit82 for his help with testing.
