Dean is becoming quite a hand full for our injured Kate, me thinks threats of violence on his person will only work for a short time.

Ogramirad - True enough, and Kate doesn't even know about Christine yet. She reached the limit of her endurance though, she's not handling the pressure very well at the moment and Dean's utter selfishness ended up being the last drop, combined with just the right amount of anti-ghoul prejudice. It also makes a contrast with her attitude towards forceful persuasion in this episode.
Also, I really like the modded 9mm!
Going just by what good ol Dean has done, he pretty much should be shot and killed at the first opportunity.. Lol
But I never can bring myself to do that.. lol
